This is a cute story about Marcel..
We were in Germany all staying in a Hotel for the ship building with a InterSub submarine as a hyperbaric lifeboat. JFD was of course there, as was Marcel. Me too. On check out from the hotel, I was alarmed because a large amount of drinks had been charged to my room. I thought I would be fired for this! So, I explained to JFD about all the drinks being charged to my room and that I had charged nothing at all and did not understand how it had happened. JFD said not to worry, Marcel was probably just playing a joke on me! Still, I was very worried about losing my job.
Just one fond memory of life with InterSub.

The photo is my first submarine, the USS Simon Bolivar SSBN 641. I was on it from launch in 1964 to 1967. A bit before InterSub...
Pete! Here's my last submarine - 1973 - HMS Valiant - a nuclear powered hunter killer. We broke down on our way to the States and as we could not shut down the reactor, spent time in a Scottish Loch!
